Welcome new patients
A majority of patients going to an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon are referred by another dentist or medical professional. However, this is not always the case. Walk-ins or self-referred people are welcome as well.
What to expect on your first appointment
Dr. Stewart and Dr. Arango will meet with you to discuss your specific needs and concerns. In addition, an exam will be done. If you have any radiographs, bring or have your dentist email them to our office. Impressions and/or photographs may be taken as well.
With this information, Dr. Stewart and Dr. Arango will make any recommendations or discuss your case further with your dentist. If straight-forward, the procedure may be done at this appointment.
While normally used by medical and dental professionals, if you are self-referring you can download a copy or complete directly through our website.

Dr. Stewart and Dr. Arango and his staff are interested in the least invasive way to achieve the best outcome. He will explain all rationale for any recommended therapy. We understand it is important that you be clear on the procedure, alternatives, costs and timing because want you to be comfortable in all these aspects.
