Wisdom Teeth & Tooth Extractions Dallas TX
We Also Welcome Patients Without Referrals
In your overall dental treatment, a tooth, or multiple teeth, may need to be removed. This could be due to advanced decay, bone loss, or trauma. Mostly, this will be recommended by your dentist, while Dr. Stewart or Dr. Arango will perform the wisdom teeth removal procedure.
We Ensure Your Comfort During Your Oral Surgery
We understand that most patients are anxious about having a tooth extraction. For your overall comfort and benefit, we offer intravenous sedation for all procedures.
We Preserve Teeth Where Possible
At Stewart & Arango Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery, we will try to preserve a tooth, if possible. We will work with your dentist to ensure tooth extraction is absolutely necessary. If you do not have a relationship with a general dentist, we can help you find one.
We Understand Everyone Is Unique
Wisdom teeth usually do not have enough room for normal eruption. These teeth may never cause problems despite being in a poor position. However, impacted teeth can lead to periodontal defects which affect adjacent teeth, cause infections, cysts or even tumors. Typically, they are fully formed at the age of 18. Therefore, the ideal age for wisdom teeth removal is between ages of 15 and 18. Everyone is unique, so these ages may vary.
